It should come as no surprise that kids from homes where there is domestic violence are more likely to be abused or neglected themselves.
That’s why we’ll be joining our friends from Prevent Child Abuse Indiana on Friday, March 28 for their Pinwheels for Prevention event. And we’re inviting you!
We’ll be helping to plant 1,000 pinwheels in front of their office. Each pinwheel represents 84 live births in the state of Indiana last year—a total of 84,000 children—and our commitment to making Indiana a place where every one of those kids can flourish.
Mary Armstrong-Smith, Community Partners Director of Prevent Child Abuse Indiana, assures us that they “look amazing when the wind catches them.” Be a part of this effort to stand up for kids in Indiana!
