WIN is a business resource group designed to bring together Chase employees with similar interests. The philanthropy and volunteer group chooses to support Coburn Place. Their enthusiasm for empowering residents is incredible!
Rebecca works downtown and Lynn works at a branch on the NW side of Indy. Each month they come together to host a craft night for residents, which is easily one of our most popular programs. Inspired by ideas found on Pinterest, they come up with great seasonal projects.
These evenings give residents a chance to have fun and get creative, but they serve an even deeper purpose. One resident shared, “This is such a stress reliever. It feels good to be normal again.” The volunteers agree. Lynn, a former police officer and DV survivor herself, has seen the terrible sides of the issue and is “happy to now see the positive side.”
The group’s impact extends far beyond volunteer time. When we are running low on staples such as toilet paper or cleaning supplies, we know we can count on WIN to come by with a car full of donations. We are so grateful to have this wonderful group partnering with us! We are definitely WINning!
