Everyone deserves a safe home.

Welcome to Coburn Place

We offer compassionate support and safe housing choices for survivors of domestic violence and their children.

We offer housing first in two ways: a dedicated building with 35 apartments in a former elementary school, and rent-support across more than 15 zip codes through a community-based housing program. After getting safely housed, survivors and their children can begin to heal. With a safe space to rest, pursue goals, save money, address health, and connect with a supportive community, survivors set their own goals and define success individually.

We serve everyone because we believe everyone is welcome and everyone belongs.  We believe that supporting survivors and their children during this critical transition strengthens families and helps stop the cycle of violence from continuing generationally. We stand with survivors of domestic violence, helping illuminate a path to restore hope, believing in an Indianapolis where every person is safe and can flourish.
