My birthday wish for safer futures

Let’s Give a Child a Safe Place to Just Be a Kid

A Note from Lupe

Since joining the Board at Coburn Place, I’ve found the words for something that has lived quietly in the background of my family’s story: domestic violence.

Some of the women I love most have experienced it. I’ve seen the toll it takes, the silence that surrounds it, and how the pain can echo through generations.

But at Coburn Place, I see something different: families safe, healing, and working toward beautiful futures on their own terms. But they need help to get there.

The average child here is a six-year-old boy. Your gift during my birthday can help make a safer future possible for him and his mom.

Will you help?

…One more thing. Would you consider making your gift monthly?

Domestic violence and homelessness keeps skyrocketing in Indy. Federal dollars are under imminent threat. Your steady support has never mattered more.
